Browsers and Javascript

>>Javascript is a scripting language that is commonly included in web pages to initiate special features. In most browsers this feature is turned on by default and thus it's automatic.

However, Microsoft's Internet Explorer, which has far more than its share of malicious hacker attacks, can have Javascript turned off by default (bringing up a yellow bar warning at the top of the screen). To activate the Javascript features in this case you either have to keep clicking on this with each page to disable it, or permanently disable it in the browser options...

...or simply use another browser.

>> Although it's a matter of personal choice, right now Firefox is recommended for both the Windows and Mac platforms. The updated version of Safari that comes with the Apple's Leopard operating systems is also recommended.

AnswerTips™ requires an Internet connection and won't appear in Opera browsers or versions of Safari older than 3.0.
